SchneidersLaden: Goodbye Kotti & Hello Neukölln!

SchneidersLaden is moving to new showrooms in Neukölln, Berlin. The new locations will feature an excellent selection of modular synthesizers, Eurorack, Buchla, Serge, semi-modulars, desktop devices, and more. The former showroom at Kotti will now primarily house the expanded repair department. Customers can visit the former showroom at Kotti today between 2 and 6 pm, but only a limited selection of instruments will be available. Fyrall Mutant Completed

Richard Brewster shares details of the Fyrall Mutant, a modular synthesizer with six oscillators and unique interconnections. The oscillators are connected in a ring, modulating each other, with each pair having different speeds and color-coded knobs. The Counten Temples, driven by the oscillators, generate count pulses and have multiple outputs. The Orrangers, double 4-way selector switches, route signals to the oscillators based on the Counten Temple’s selection. Richard also adds modifications to the circuitry, including modulation switches and op amp voltage followers. The Fyrall Mutant offers a bursty and versatile sound experience. Read more
